Yesterday there was an unprecedented Press Release issued against Digital Brand Media & Marketing Group, Inc. (DBMM) as well as its subsidiary businesses. This release was not authorized by DBMM and this brief explanation is designed to allay the unwarranted concerns of shareholders and address what can only be described as a cheap stunt.

The content of the release was information in the public domain from a recent Order in an ongoing litigation that has been deliberately and maliciously re-purposed to mislead and panic DBMM shareholders and attempt to coerce DBMM Management..

The ensuing manufactured panic has been perpetuated by paid bashers and naysayers whom the majority of, neither have, nor have had, shares in DBMM. Perhaps they are associated with our adversary, perhaps not, but either way, the comments of these individuals are already being documented and discussed with ADVFN alongside various social channels legal departments and our own counsel.These organizations, like DBMM, take the publishing of defamatory, fake news and information that is without basis, very seriously. Furthermore, these individuals will feel the full force of counsel and the US authorities in due course

The facts are as stated below:

The controlling preferred shares are in individual hands. There is nothing to turn over, as DBMM has no registered shares.

DBMM is owned by DBMM shareholders and managed by the same people as Wednesday morning. Nothing has changed.

Both the SEC and FINRA have sanctioned the organization who issued the release and its principal. as well as fined and disgorged millions of dollars from this fearmongering company and other entities owned by them also engaged in various forms of toxic lending.

DBMM will file a motion early next week as securities matters are the purview of the SEC and FINRA in the Federal domain. 

DBMM urges shareholders to continue to advance with the Company as we were Wednesday morning and rest assured that documented information about our Company and business will be released as a priority.
